One of the most dangerous things that can happen as you grow is everybody around you starts agreeing with you.

Not because you are always right.

Because they benefit from keeping you comfortable.

Employees want stability.

Partners want access.

People around you do not want conflict.

So eventually you stop hearing the truth.

That is a problem.

Every serious business owner needs at least one person who is willing to challenge them directly.

Someone smart enough to spot blind spots.

Someone honest enough to call out bad ideas.

Someone who is not impressed by titles, money, or ego.

Without that person, it gets easy to drift.

And most people do not even realize it is happening.
