You hit a goal.

Close a deal.

Have a breakthrough.

And suddenly you start noticing reactions.

Some people get genuinely excited for you.

Others get quiet.

Some smile to your face while secretly hoping it falls apart tomorrow.

That is just reality.

Success exposes people.

Not everybody can handle seeing someone close to them level up.

And if you are not careful, you will start shrinking your wins just to make other people comfortable.

That is a dangerous game.
