I escaped the Ohio deep freeze for the Florida sun, but the business headaches still found me.

It’s a reminder of something we all need to hear right now:

If your systems can't run without you, then you don't have a system. You have a schedule.

One snowstorm back home nearly derailed a major deal I was working on.

Phones down.
Cameras out.
Team scrambling.
And the people I thought I could count on? Radio silence.

Luckily, we moved quick.
But it reminded me, again, how important speed and backup plans really are.
